Privacy Policy

SiteNova ChannelPulse is operated by SiteNova Technologies LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how SiteNova ChannelPulse collects, accesses, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information when users access the private YouTube analytics and monetization readiness dashboard.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that is necessary to provide the SiteNova ChannelPulse service.
- Account information: name, email address, username, encrypted password hash, login session information, and administrative role information.
- Manual purchase and voucher information: voucher code, redemption date, lifetime access status, and related administrative records.
- Google OAuth information: Google account identifier, authorized OAuth scopes, access token, refresh token, token expiration time, and token connection status.
- YouTube channel metadata: channel ID, channel title, custom URL, thumbnail, subscriber count, total view count, video count, upload count, and connected channel status.
- YouTube Analytics data: read-only metrics such as views, estimated minutes watched, watch hours, average view duration, subscribers gained, subscribers lost, and other reporting metrics authorized by the user.
- Dashboard traffic snapshots: per-channel view count, subscriber count, video count, snapshot date, and snapshot time used to calculate daily live traffic changes.
- Technical and security logs: IP address, browser information, timestamps, login events, sync logs, API error logs, and diagnostics needed to protect and maintain the service.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected and authorized information only for the following purposes:
- To create and maintain a private SiteNova ChannelPulse user account.
- To authenticate users and protect dashboard access.
- To connect a user’s authorized Google/YouTube account through Google OAuth.
- To import and display the user’s owned or managed YouTube channels.
- To display private channel analytics, watch hours, views, subscribers, upload counts, and monetization readiness indicators.
- To generate daily live traffic snapshots and channel performance summaries.
- To provide customer support, security monitoring, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and service maintenance.
- To manage manual lifetime purchase access and voucher-based registration.
3. Google API Services and YouTube Data
SiteNova ChannelPulse uses Google OAuth and YouTube APIs only after a user authorizes access. The application requests read-only access for YouTube channel and analytics features. SiteNova ChannelPulse does not create, edit, delete, upload, publish, or modify any YouTube video, playlist, comment, channel setting, or other YouTube content.
The application may request the following Google OAuth scopes:
openid,email, andprofileto identify the authenticated user and support account login.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonlyto read YouTube channel metadata and statistics for channels the user owns or manages.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics.readonlyto read YouTube Analytics reports for the user’s authorized YouTube channels.
Google user data is used only to provide user-facing dashboard features inside the authenticated user’s private account. It is not sold, rented, publicly displayed, or used for advertising. SiteNova ChannelPulse's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. How We Store and Protect Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect user information. OAuth tokens should be stored securely and encrypted at rest where the application stores them. Access to user dashboard data is limited to authenticated users and authorized administrators for support, security, and maintenance purposes.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell user data. We do not publicly list a user’s connected YouTube channels or analytics. We may share limited information only in these circumstances:
- With service providers that help operate hosting, security, database, email, or infrastructure services, only as needed to provide the service.
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, security, and prevent abuse.
- With the user’s instruction, consent, or request for support.
6. Data Retention
We retain account data, connected channel records, OAuth connection records, analytics summaries, and traffic snapshots while the user account remains active or as needed to provide the service. We may retain limited logs for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, compliance, or backup recovery.
7. User Controls, Revocation, and Deletion
Users can disconnect or remove connected channels from the dashboard where available. Users can also revoke SiteNova ChannelPulse access from their Google Account permissions page. After revocation, the application can no longer access new Google or YouTube data unless the user reconnects Google OAuth.
Users may request deletion of their SiteNova ChannelPulse account data, connected channel records, OAuth tokens, and stored dashboard analytics by contacting privacy@sitenovatech.com or support@sitenovatech.com. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable period unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes.
8. Children
SiteNova ChannelPulse is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. International Processing
Information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our hosting, infrastructure, or service providers operate.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
